This week Jewel has Quaker Rice Crisps on an instant savings deal – when you buy in sets of 3 the price drops to only 50¢ a bag! Bought six, used three $1/2 coupons from 8/4 S (exp 9/15) which should have made them completely free, but the register refused to accept any, saying something about making it a negative product price. Manager override made it all good, but really! We’ll be running the big transaction at the front desk 🙂
Stopped at an away Jewel – figured since I was passing by might as well check clearance and pick up more bottles of Ice Mountain 🙂 Well, slap my ass and call me Sally ’cause they had a buncha different flavors! I will definitely be heading to this location within the next few days: lemon ginger, blood orange hibiscus, ruby red grapefruit, orange mango. well, at least they had them earlier…
I scanned 13 Ice Mountain bottles and even as I was scanning the first ones, a 75¢ coupon came out, then after the 13th one another cat, this time for $3 OYNO printed! So now the math has changed to make it even cheaper per bottle. (13 x .79 = $10.27, less $6 in coupons and $3.75 in catalinas or … 52¢ for all 13 (that’s 4¢ a bottle, folks)!
I originally went in for half and half on sale this week, but yesterday’s rows of half gallons had turned into one lonely carton in the cooler – I’ll get more tomorrow. I always check out meat clearance and even though they didn’t have peelies on them, the PRE is still on Ibotta so an extra $4 plus I added the 25¢ on any item for a grand total of $4.25 in rebates.
Ice Mountain is on sale for 79¢; use the $1.50/3 coupon in 8/25 rmn and pay $1.74 when you buy six. A 75¢ catalina prints out for 75¢ off when you buy four, so next set of six will be only 99¢, or 16¢ a bottle. Weird catalina rewards the amount you spend, not the quantity you purchase, so I could buy 13 to get over the $10 maximum, get a $3 coupon off my next order, making the next order cost per bottle under a dime. We shall see. i have lots of coupons and a powerful thirst for Ice Mountain
The Purina High Protein canned food is on sale for a buck at Jewel through 9/1 and also on Ibotta – get $1 when you buy 3 cans. I also add the Buy any Item for 20¢ rebate whenever it renews. Buy 4, use the BOGO coupons in 7/28 S then submit for the rebate! You’ll end up paying only a buck for all four. And if it resets you’ll do it again 🙂 Honest T is the Saturday Sampler freebie.
Dollar Tree also has the Purina cans and they’re part of the Ibotta rebate, but I don’t know how they’re registers will take this coupon since it requires the cashier to enter the price and their registers are iffy so often.
