Apparently this was hidden in the back of the Jewel and just discovered! Seriously, they could have gotten lots more $$ had it even been a few days earlier…None the less, I grabbed all this for $6 – – those Jelly Belly Sours were only 25¢ each. Got ’em for FirstBorn, but on the off-chance any kid shows up (remember, only 3 houses on this block with nary a child within shouting range), candy!
Well, guess who restocked Billy Goat burgers in the freezer? Only $2.99 (from $12.99) for six 1/3 burgers. Works for me! The other stuff was oddities I may or may not like, but for the 75% off, why not try (especially since something like the Watkins was only 49¢ and there’s a $1 Ibotta)? We got there very late in the day, so most of the cart was empty. Saw tags for lots of organic honey and many more tuna varieties, so check your own store. I have a feeling lots more stores will be pushing out those Billy Goat burgers since this is the second time they’ve appeared. PITA wanted the honey/cherry fruit spread and I can deny her nothing – as long as it’s 75% or more off 🙂
Normally I won’t touch clearance stuff under 75%, unless it’s one of those free or moneymaker items from the clearance cart – I do have standards, you know! But these Rosino meatballs at 50% off were $3.25 and there is an Ibotta rebate of $1.25 (limit 5 per receipt), so something to go with all our Barilla. There is a $1 coupon in the 9/29 rmn, but we didn’t get it in this area 🙁
If you’ve been holding off on the StarKist $5.03 coupon because you didn’t think you’d be able to use it, I just picked up three of the pouches that are part of the 88¢ Jewel deal, together with six Cheerios (to get over 8 total) and added a pack of noodles for the little bit of overage. You will need a manager override on this coupon, because not only is it over $5, but it’s not coded for any particular product in the line, just StarKist. No issues, just so you’re aware. My OOP was 27¢ using the $1/2 GM coupons and one JFU digital, which actually came off as intended…which always surprises me 🙂
This week Jewel is running that Buy 8 (mix and match) items and they’ll drop to 88¢ each promotion. Figure cereal is the best offer right now, so use the $1/2 coupons from 9/29 S (Cheerios or Cocoa Puffs work for either coupon) and pay only 38¢ a box. Again, you don’t have to only take cereal as long as it’s part of the 88¢ promotion.
Sunday will see another Jewel Flash Sale deal, this time on Keebler cookies. It’s a one-day only sale – – get up to four packages (I saw Fudge Sticks, Fudge Stripes, Pecan Sandies and more, but they tend to blur) for only 99¢ each. No coupons out now or tomorrow and no rebates 🙁 I’m never happy.
