CVS – 11/6 – 12

The selection of things for the Spend $30 get $10 gift card is much better this week.  A few of the items are the Duracell batteries for $10.99.  Use the $.75 coupon from the 10/16 P&G (other areas got a buck).  You’ve spent $20.72 plus high tax after gift card.  Glade air spray is on sale for a buck.  It’s part of that Spend $12 get $4 ecbs; lots of other Glade and Oust items are part of it.  See if any of these Glade IPs are still available:

$3.00 off Glade Lasting Impressions warmer

Ajax dish soap is on sale for .89 and it’s part of the Spend $30 promo.  Other areas got $1/2 any Fab, Ajax, Dynamo products coupons in the 8/14S; Chicago got rocks.  If you are interested in this, the coupons are selling on both Dede and eBay for 10% of the face value.  With the coupons you could buy 34 (!) dish soap, spend $30.26 before and $13.26 after coupon.  Subtract the gift card and you’ve gotten 34 bottles of cheap dish soap for $3.26.  Hope I never have to do that many dishes; obviously you want to combine products!

The biggest deal I see is the Jif peanut butter and Smuckers preserves at 2/$5.  Buy two and get back $3 ecb.  We’re talking about a buck a jar for peanut butter!   There were some IPs out there a while ago and who knows what will show up by the time this sale starts…

Schick Hydro 3 and 5; Schick disposables; Edge or Skintimate gel and Playtex tampons are all part of a Spend $20 get back $10.  Look for IPs here.

CVS – Norelco razors rain checks

A heads up to all of you wanting rain checks AND razors.  The Naperville store will be placing its order on Saturday morning for their mid-week delivery and if you haven’t placed your order by then, you will not get a razor next week.  If you are only interested in getting the rain check and can wait (coupon expires 12/31), that’s fine.  I just dropped off another stack of inserts, so make sure to get your coupon(s) when you pick up your rain check…by tomorrow!

And just so you know, they already have orders for 70 razors.

CVS & Norelco rain checks PSA

Just a quick note to those of you who can’t make the time to pick up your rain checks some time before Saturday:

Emily would be more than happy to get your rain checks, clip the coupons, front you the cash to buy the razors, deliver them to your home at a time convenient to you … and then, since she’s already there… pull your head out of your ass.  not

CVS – Wisk rain check updates and razor coupons

Stopped at CVS to drop off about 60 of the Norelco coupon inserts and picked up some more Glade for the $4 ecbs.  The Naperville/Ogden store sold a ton of the WIsk, but Emily asks that I tell readers that they will not only honor any other CVS’ rain checks (which they all do), but will also give you the $10 gift card when you purchase $30 worth of Wisk with that rain check.  There is a disclaimer on them that says rain checks do not automatically grant gift cards, and you can bet some coupon-nazi stores will be dancing to the beat of that drummer.

Tuesday freebies

Free sample of Numi organic tea.  Originally set for the first 2,00 to respond…those went in an hour.  Now they’re open for business again.

Free sample of Aveeno Living Color shampoo and conditioner through Walmart.  You snooze you lose.

Free Gooseberry Patch Cookie Swap Cookbook for your Kindle from Amazon.  These
Gooseberry Patch cookbooks normally sell for $2.99, so click for free while it’s still available.  Who can’t use more cookie recipes as we get near the holiday season?  or any season, for that matter…

Free travel size of Clear & Clear Morning Burst body wash.  I got cases of this stuff last time it was at Wags and it’s my favorite body wash hands down.  As a matter of fact, my mom asked for more of it!  Anywho, print out this $1 coupon and use it on the travel size, since the coupon has no restrictions.  Coupon print limit reached

Free sample of Yves Saint Laurent Break Free for men.  Like and…oh, you know the routine.  There’s also a Win a Trip to Las Vegas contest you can enter – oh, wait, you have to enter a stupid picture for the trip.  pah  Well, at least we’ll all smell good.

couple new IPs for you…

Told you they’ll just keep appearing…

$3.00 off The Others, The Crow or Mimic on Blu-Ray. I am definitely not a movie person, but even I know that these coupons will go quick, given that we’re going into the holiday season. And they’re Blu-ray, which is all most people want anyway.

$0.55 off Langers Juice.  If you haven’t yet printed your coupons, grab it now.  The apple juice goes on sale at Ultra fairly often, usually for less than $1.50.

$0.55 off EDGE SHAVE GEL 7oz.  Aren’t we overdue for a shave gel deal at Wags and CVS?  Although a MM at Wmart would be even sweeter!

CVS – $5 Norelco razors – update w/ screen shot & coupons

Update II:  I have agreed to donate about 100 of these coupons.  They will be given to Emily tomorrow to give to people who plan to purchase the razor.  I’d suggest stapling it to the rain check, but I’m paranoid…

Update:  I just spoke with Emily at the Naperville/Ogden Avenue CVS and she has no problem with ordering more and/or giving people a rain check.  She asked that people call her at 630-548-2057 tomorrow after 2 so she can get an idea of many extra she needs to add to her order.  Here is a screen shot of the actual Phillips site showing the razors:

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit to

razor with 8/14 S insert

living on the deal edge – I see no reason to second-guess marketing people, so if they want to give me stuff for cheap and/or free, well, who am I to argue?  Case in point is this Norelco razor on sale at CVS this week for $39.99 with $5 ecbs, limit one per card.  Got this SD alert that this was working with the $30 coupon from 8/14 S.  The problem is that the coupon says SensoTouch and SensoTouch D.  And just because it scans does not make it right (to me, obviously, since everyone draws their own moral line in the sand).  I went to the actual Philips site, then clicked razors and selected only the SensoTouch and SensoTouchD razor group.  You will see the 7300 razor, the one from CVS,  comes up as part of the Senso group!  I can’t link to the actual page, but click the main page link and go from there.  I’d recommend taking a screen shot if you are uncertain at all of your store.

Remember, these would make some fine Holiday presents, even without the $5 ecb.

CVS – Glade spray

The Spend $12 on Glade products get $4 ecb started today – unfortunately, the Naper/Ogden store computer system crashed Saturday night and NOTHING was generating ecbs.  No biggie for this or the CG Spend $10 get $3 ecb, since they just wrote the info on the receipt and I’ll get the ecbs at a later date.  Use the $4 coupon from 9/25S.  You’ll spend $3 plus high tax and get back $4.  This is a great deal for those of you who dislike the Air Wick scents.

The CoverGirl eyeshadows are $5.79 – ouch! – but buy two for $11.58, use the $8/2 and get back $3 in ecbs.  Keep the receipt for the CoverGirl spend $50 get $10 rebate.  You are not required to spend the $50 all in the same transaction.

CVS – Wisk update

Stopped in the Naper/Ogden CVS for something totally different and asked about their Wisk supply (they sold out – at least 60 – on Monday).  They received a large shipment yesterday afternoon, so if you’ve got a hankerin’ for Wisk, head on over.  They have it in a couple of locations:  endcap, regular laundry shelves and about 100 in the back.  Remember, you can get up to 30 bottles per card and your limit resets for next week’s sales (oh, and it stacks).

CVS – week of 10/30 – update

Those MegaRed and Move Free products are very pricey!  How pricey?  About thirty bucks worth of pricey.  So a BOGO sale and two $5 coupons will make a huge difference in the cost of these.

AND, I screwed up on the P&G Bounty coupon – Chicago got the .25 rock.  New motto: Goddess will not print coupon info until she’s actually pulled out the insert and checked.  Both deals and coupons are nationwide and it’s nigh on impossible to tell what coupons a specific area will get and/or what stores will have clearances/hot deals.  The good news is that CouponDede has the Bounty $1 coupons available.  Bad news is they are .15 each with a 10 coupon limit.  You do get 3 points credit for each, though.  Honestly, the cost of coupons keeps skyrocketing.  Each time I think it’s topped off, boom, another jump.  So if you do want these, you’ve got enough time to order one set (and if you want more, you can order another set next week.)

Just starting through the ad, which continues the Spend $30 on featured items and get a $10 gift card.  The Bounty Basic paper towel 8-pk for $5.99 looks decent when you use the $1 coupon from the 10/16 P&G.  The Gain liquid, powder and fabric enhancer are all marked $5.94 – use the $1.50/detergent AND enhancer coupon in the same 10/16 P&G.  Buying two sets of the Gain and one Bounty would set you back $29.75, less the $4 in coupons.   Pay $25.75 and get back $10.

So far, the only other thing I see (and admittedly I haven’t spent much time on the ad) is the BOGO on Schiff MegaRed or Move Free.  There are  $5/1 and $3/1 coupons in 9/11 S for the MegaRed and Move Free; the $3 MegaRed coupon expires 10/31.
