Check your local CVS for mark-downs on Clairol Herbal Essences and the CVS comparison to Aveeno – they were all marked $1. No coupons, but I had a few ecbs to burn. Remember, not every CVS marks down their clearance items to a buck, but you should definitely see 75% off stickers. If not, ask!

CVS & unlimited ecbs
Thought that would get your attention.
A reader sent me an email about this deal. It actually started last night (well, that’s when we first saw it print), but Naperville is completely cleaned out (and not by me, either) so I could prove it worked on both cans.
Buy Schick Hydro shave gel for sensitive skin or Skintimate dry skin shaving gel – either one generates a $4 ecb with a limit per card of 100! There is a 55¢ coupon in the 1/15 S for the Skintimate and some cans (I’ve read, anyway) have $2 peelies stuck in various locations.
Since the limit is 100, you could clear out a few shelves and use up some expiring ecbs! Last time this deal ran on the puny cans, but don’t think that’s gonna happen here. But go for it – it’s marked on the shelf tags, so if you don’t get your ecbs, they will manually generate them.
CVS – rocks the NatureMade boat!
Only seven of the $5 Nature Made IPs, so I made the best of it – besides, these were supplements that I would buy anyway (some people are buying the cheapest items for the overage). A $1 coupon for the Pop Chips and I ended up spending $3.34, but got back a $10 gift card. Two of the Pop Chips were a separate transaction to use up a $5 ecb. Oh, hell, I didn’t need to use up any expiring ecbs – I am a Pop Chips thai sweet chili potato addict. … hello, Goddess.
2/19 inserts – good coupons!
We are blessed with the $5/2 and $2 L’Oreal coupons this week. Why blessed? All the L’Oreal clearance hair colors from CVS, Wags and Jewel, of course! Clip and keep these with you because I guarantee you’ll see these products on the clearance end caps.
And WE GOT THE Tylenol Precise coupons. Until I actually
see the paper, I can’t be certain. The $5 has a one-week expiration date, folks, so your options are to either decide which store will get your coupons or…use your coupons at Walgreens and if you want more products, high-tail it over to Jewel and pick up as many as you want/need/order. Pay and return within 60 days with the coupons you’ve ordered, been given or traded for.
CVS gets greasy
Emily reports that she is unable to order any of those 3 oz tubes of Vaseline lotion – it is not a product they normally carry (the cardboard display just appeared) and although she’s tried with all three varieties, she cannot place an order.
Sorry.
Don’t forget to check your local CVS for the reset CLEARANCE items. Naperville marks everything down to a buck to move them out the door, while others may only go down to 70% – it’s up to the store manager. I picked up this CoverGirl lip gloss and tinted moisturizer on the end cap today: All were marked $1 and I used some expiring ecbs to pay. wouldn’t it be cool if I hit the $50 Beauty bonus again with these!
livingsocial – $20 CVS card for $10 – SOLD OUT!!
Livingsocial is back with their CVS deal: Get a $20 card for only $10. Limit one per person. I do not know how long this will be open and if you bought it last go round you’re out of luck. Since I got it last time, I can’t personally check, but I’ve read that lots of people are buying it so…
livingsocial – $20 CVS gift card for $10 – dead
livingsocial has this deal running: Get a $20 CVS gift card for only $10. Limit one per purchaser • Valid for in-store purchases only HURRY, they’ve already sold almost 30,000 of these!
DEAD – They sold out at 35,000.
These are GREAT for paying all the taxes on our deals.
CVS – Vaseline for free
Moved this over from GMoney’s comment under deals, steals…This one rocks, folks!
Was @ CVS today and saw that the vaseline 3 oz. tubes are 99c. There was a $1/1 3 oz or larger in the 1/29 RP, making these free……Aloe and Cocoa Butter only.
Q says no travel size but it does say 3 oz or larger……go figure.
Note: The yellow tubes were ringing at $2.99, even though they were in the same box and say the exact same thing on the label! CVS ran out of the brown and green tubes, so substituted the yellows (and no, it wasn’t Emily). They are NOT in the travel/trial section, but in a cardboard case in one of the front display sections. I didn’t see them in travel or regular lotions, figured Naperville didn’t have any, and was just walking to the front. Bam! There was the display.
Great find GMoney – see, you are all working to make this site the bestest and shiniest for deals.
CVS – $25 Gift Card Winner
ME!!! And no, the fix is not in…’cause if it were I’d be getting a $50 gift card. John was the one who drew the survey receipts from the box, just to prevent any possible finger-pointing at Emily.
Saw this deal a few weeks ago, but it didn’t make any sense until Sunday’s BOGO coupon in the 1/29 S: Spend $12 get $6 ecbs, limit two per card. In this case, use six coupons per card, pay high tax and get $12 ecbs. Easy-peasy! And don’t ask questions about the math – trust me, it works with just coupons.
CVS – almost FREE Axe
Now that I have your attention: Emily has a quantity of Axe body wash in stock and a kind reader has donated a set of 35 coupons (BOGO & $1) to use on the Buy 3 get $4 ecbs promotion if you still have rain checks. Card limits are being enforced, so you are restricted to one set of 3 to earn the ecbs (obviously you are buying four to use both BOGO coupons). If you have a rain check and want product, give Emily a call (630) 548-2057.as soon as possible to reserve your bottles – the coupons will be delivered tomorrow afternoon (Thursday).
If you don’t care about earning ecbs, you can have as many as bottles as you want. Your cost would then be (after coupons) $6.98, or $1.74 per bottle because these are the $1 coupons, not the $2, so slight uptick in prices.
