CVS gift card winner for March is…

NO ONE!  That is to say, not one entry was received at CVS for their monthly $25 gift card drawing.  It’s possible that no one received a survey on their receipt (I know I got nothing until April 1!), but if only one person had entered…they would have won.

So make sure you give ’em all 5s on the survey, clip off the receipt part that shows a survey phone number and put your name and phone number on the back.  Deposit into the survey box at the front registers.

Allegra update 2

Readers have said that they’ve found the 5-ct Allegra at Walgreens for $6.99, plus there is apparently a non-advertised price of $4.14 on it at Kroger.  Since it’s unadvertised, I can’t check if it’s also at Food4Less, but if anyone is heading over there, please check it out and report back.  Also, some CVS locations are substituting other brands – I’ve personally experienced this during other sales because the manager didn’t like giving out rain checks.

If you’ve been having difficulty finding the 5-ct packs of Allegra at Walmart or CVS, Osco has them on sale for $5.  make sure you have sufficient items for overage…  ’nuff said…  word to the wise and all that… Soft Soap is a buck a bottle…

Okay, I’ve been out doing some serious damage, but now I’m back.  Any questions, please use the contact tab.

Monday IPs from coupons.com

Colgate Orabase is a 20% benzocaine paste that relieves canker and other mouth sores.  Hasn’t been a Wags deal on this in a couple of years – nothing on CVS.  Lots of food coupons when you click to the actual coupons.com site (LOL butter, Frigo cheese…)
$1.00 off COLGATE ORABASE
$0.50 off 1 Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion
$20.00 off Bionaire or Holmes aer1 Ready
$10.00 off any Holmes or Bioniare aer1 Ready

CVS for diet coke

The CVS Magic Coupon Machine spit out a $5 off when you spend $25 on allergy medicine coupon last week.  Since I knew that the Allegra was going to be free this week, decided to blow the $5 on some Diet Coke with lime (since someone else bought all of it last time around).  So the “stuff” you see here cost me 97¢ – damned tax.

It’s Free Allegra time again!

Starting April 1, CVS will have the Allegra 5 ct tablets on sale for $6.99 – there will be a $7 coupon in most Sunday papers that Sunday.  Last year when they ran this coupon (also in April), every other store was offering the same price/deal, so I’m gonna tell you all to place your special orders NOW!  Wags will have the 30 ct for $17.99, but I prefer free, don’t you?

CVS clearance hair accessories

Keep an eye out for the hair goods clearance going on at CVS – I found all these hair brushes in the $1 clearance cart; they had brushes, clips, combs, barrettes and more.  Since corporate sends the word out to all CVS stores, you’re bound to find something in your store…oh, wait, your store is Naperville, isn’t it?!

Free Snickers eggs

Got your attention yet?  You’ll be able to grab some of those Snickers Easter eggs for free at both Walgreens and CVS, but in different weeks.  Walgreens will have them on sale 2/$1 starting 3/18.  Use the $1/2 coupon from 3/18 rp for free candy.

CVS will have a 3-day sale starting 3/25 for the Snickers eggs and Milky Way bunnies for 2/$1, get $1 ecb when you buy two – a $1 MM!  Limit two per household card.

Note that you will not be able to place orders for these items at either store.  Both chains consider these seasonal items and as such are moved in and out of the warehouse – no inventory remains (right now the warehouse is shipping wading pools and flip flops).  My advice is to grab as many as you can at Wags and then clip some more coupons for CVS.  I love these little Snickers size pieces.

just a couple of pictures…

PITA stays in the car to read while I run errands – I turn around and she’s standing next to me!  Don’t worry, mom, I locked the car door…just shoot me now…

CVS Coke display.  At first I thought the stuff wasn’t moving ’cause it was already Wednesday and they had almost half left…then Emily said that this was what remained of the second delivery…another coming on Friday.  wow.

Glade IPs for CVS 3/25

I’m putting all the current Glad IPs in one post because, starting 3/25, CVS will have a Spend $20 on Glade products and get back $10 in ecbs!  I would definitely print as many as you can, because as of right now, there are no current insert coupons. – correction:  There are a few Glade coupons in the 2/19 rp that for some reason did not show up in the coupon data base.
