CVS 5/6 – ReBump

ReBump:  The Magic Coupon Machine has been spitting out $1 any deodorant coupons on many cards.  Stack this with the $1.99 sale on Mitchum and the $1 mfr coupon in 3/18 s.  or $1.00 off any Mitchum or Mitchum for Women product for FREE DEODORANT!

Bump ’cause CVS in Naperville just got in their stock of Playtex/Kotex, children’s Allegra and the good ‘n natural bars for next week’s sale.  Start clipping now and get your orders in.

John comments that:  Bumble bee tuna deal is better with $1/2 coupon from Recyclebank.  He’s right – thanks John – you can “buy” an IP $1/2 coupon from Recycle Bank for 40 points.  If you’ve never registered or even heard of Recyclebank before, you earn points by pledging to do green things.  Easy and fast to build up points and it’s another way to get coupons.  I have never gotten any spammy emails from them, either.

CVS is looking pretty good this week, so let’s get right to it.  The Magic Coupon Machine is spitting out a coupon for a 12-pack of Coke products for 99¢ with any purchase of $20 or more.  Limit one per card.  Keep that in mind with these deals

Wisk is BOGO.  Current shelf price is $8.89 (Naperville store – varies by location), so $4.45.  Use the $2 coupon from 3/25 r and you’re paying $2.45 for a bottle of Wisk.  Note:  The $2 coupon expires on 5/6, so depending on your store’s policy, they may or may not take expireds.  Most stores have no issue with a day or so, and I know stores that take up to a week back.  When in doubt, clarify first.

Snickers singles are 75¢ with 75¢ in ecbs.  Limit one per card.  You can never have too many Snickers.

Bumble Bee chunk light tuna (5 oz can) is 77¢ with no limit.  Yes, you’ve seen cheaper, but not lately, so I’m burning up a ton of ecbs on this.  Tuna fish salad is a summer staple for us.

Wesson oil is part of a Spend $10 on snack and grocery items, get $3 ecbs.   Pictured items include 48 oz Wesson, Chef Boyardee microwave ravioli, ActII popcorn (3 pk), Poppycock and 4-pk Hunt’s snack pack pudding.  If you’re Johnesing for the oil, buy four for $12 and get back $3, so $2.25 a bottle.  Since there hasn’t been a decent ConAgra coupon or cat since Bush was president, you might want to move on it.

Spend $25 on all Playtex, Hawaiian Tropic, Banana Boat or Schick products, get $10 ecbs.  This one is sweet when you stock up on Playtex products.   There is a $1 coupon in the 4/22 s and a FREE Playtex tampons (20 ct or smaller, up to $5.99) in 3/18 s.  Buy two of the larger boxes on sale for $7.99 and get the 18 ct boxes for $5.29.  Spend $26.56 before coupons – less 10.58 = $15.98.  Get back $10 ecbs and you’ve gotten all that for only $5.98.  Suhweet!

The Kotex U sale returns, this time at CVS and includes tampons, pads and liners.  Sale-priced at $3.99, you get $3 in ecbs.  Use the $1 coupon from 3/25, but be careful, because it expires 5/5, so if your store doesn’t accept an expired coupon, you’ll still be okay if it switches on new sale prices around 4 pm on Saturday.

Spend $15 on oral care products, get $5 in ecbs…These products are also part of the B1G50% off group:  Aquafresh regular and Extreme Clean…I’m just putting in a picture ’cause this is way too much info to type.  Note that Polident and Poligrip both have $1 coupons in 4/1 r that expire 5/6.

Huggies diapers, pull-ups and wipes are part of a Spend $25 get $10 ecbs.  Nothing really good about the coupons out there, but if you need diapers, you kinda don’t have a choice, kwim?

FREE Good ‘n natural energy bars.  On sale for 99¢ and the ad says a 99¢ coupon in Sunday papers.  This is strictly a sale item, no ecbs, so no limits (other than what might be placed by individual stores).

FREE children’s Allegra 12 ct or 4 oz liquid.  It’s on sale for $9.99, earn $4.99 in ecbs and it says there is a $5 coupon in Sunday’s paper.  Honestly, I’ve never seen deals on the children’s allergy line and if it’s so – GREAT!  If there is a mistake and the coupon is for the adult version only (like the last $7 coupon), then I would hope that the CVS stores make it right.  Limit 1 per card.

CVS 4/29

CVS has the ONE TOUCH UltraMini blood glucose monitoring systems on sale for $10 with no limits – there is a $10 coupon in today’s rp and an IP on coupons.com (IP is under Health Care).  The strips are also on sale with a $4 coupon in the same two places.  Since this is low tax, you might want to pick up some meters for donation purposes.  just a thought…

Magic Coupon Machine freebies!

The CVS Magic Coupon Machine is spitting out $1 off belVita breakfast bars – so far on most cards.  Since they’re 99¢ each, it’s free for me (and my readers, natch).  These are the packets of four biscuits each, probably stuck with the snack packs or on top of the pop in the front of the store (where they used to hide the little cans of Emerald Nuts).  The $1 belVita coupon from 2/26x says five pack size, so ymmv.  They’ve also had lots of demos around grocery stores and I took “a few” $1 coupons from one of them.  Yes, I do like these biscuits.

Weirdly enough, I paid 2¢ tax, so this is being taxed as a mfr, not store, coupon.

CVS free Cottonelle PSA

Fantastical news, peeps!  The limit on the $1.99 Cottonelle get $1.99 in ecbs is not one per card, but one per transaction!  Stock up now!  I don’t know how much longer this will run, but I doubt it’s an item that will be regularly carried – once out of stock, that’s it.

CVS for free tp

Yes, it’s true, CVS is giving away Cottonelle toilet paper!  Get one roll in a sealed decorative plastic container for $1.99 and earn $1.99 in ecbs.  Limit one per card.  I’d put one in each bathroom so you know that when you hit the container – fill the damned supply back up, you lazy basta… ahem, I seem to have hit a nerve here…  Picked up the MM Depends (again, limit one per card) and a whole buttload (technical blogger term) of Starburst and Skittles entirely through the generosity of a reader who left a bunch of BOGO tearpad coupons for me at CVS.  Use the coupon with the current sale (B2G1) and $1 ecbs to end up paying something like 3¢ for ten after using the $2 Depend ecb.  I don’t remember the specifics, I just stand at the register and give ’em the cash they ask for – makes transactions go a whole lot faster, imo!

Lots of Depend $1.51 MM at CVS

The Naperville CVS still has lots of the Depend Real Fit 3-pks.  $3.99, less the $1.50 mfr coupon from 4/15 s (the Band-Aid cover), less the $2.00/1 CVS coupon.  At this point you’ve paid 49¢, but then you get a $2 ecb!  Obviously this is not worth a drive in, but if you’re stopping in anyway, it’s a nice little extra money maker!

PSAs on various and sundry things

1.  The 4/15 Smart Source with the Band-aid on the cover has some very nice coupons and values – now if we can only line up some decent sales.  People always want to know how many papers they should pick up.  Tough call because if it’s an unadvertised special or super clearance or similar event, there isn’t enough time to buy coupons or even trade with others.  A large number of inserts offers me comfort.  That and the Yellow Tail MM…

2.  There are some truly decent deals coming up in the 4/29 CVS ad – I’ll post some scenarios later on today or tomorrow – plenty of time to get your supplies ready.

3.  Working on a very, very sweet rolling set of transactions at Wags for early May.  No coupons (yet) which sometimes just makes it easier for the roll, kwim?

4.  Working on finalizing details of using Steeple Run Walgreens as another source for specials.  Manager is totally in favor, but I want to make sure there’s one designated contact person and how it will be handled before I post.  Still looking for stores not pulling from Windsor, since having more than one or two warehouses would greatly increase our ability to get stock.

CVS – free Physicians Formula?

This is definitely a ymmv deal, but some CVS loyalty cards are generating $15 off any Physicians Formula product on today’s scan at the Magic Coupon Machine.  Can’t figure out just what is triggering it, and it is a very limited number of cards so far, but hey, what have you got to lose?  Physicans Formula makes a tinted moisturizer, for example, that’s $15 – – so FREE, baby!  There’s also a $1 coupon for Physicians Formula cosmetics in the 3/18 ss.

CVS PSA

For those of you waiting, the Naperville CVS got in plenty of Allegra and Schick Hydro Silk for Women.  Just head on over, no need to call first.

CVS – PSA

Heads up everyone:  Issues with the dedicated ordering email, so for right now, please go back to calling the Naperville CVS store (630/548-2057).

That is all.  We now return to our regularly-scheduled deals… beep
