Frappuccino Happy Hour is back through May 15!

Customers who visit a participating Starbucks® store in the U.S. or Canada between 3-5 p.m. local time can enjoy half-priced Frappuccino® blended beverages, any flavor and any size. Starbucks Rewards™ members receive an extended Frappuccino® Happy Hour until 6 p.m. when paying with a registered Starbucks Card or Starbucks® app.

This summer’s featured Frappuccino beverages include: New Caramel Waffle Cone Frappuccino® blended beverage and S’mores Frappuccino® blended beverage.

The polish is made in conjunction with McCormick & Company, which produces the spices for KFC’s chicken. It has yet to be mass produced but could be available in the second half of this year.  Tested in Original and Hot and Spicy flavor. Click here for the New York Times article.

At first I got all excited – $1 off the Chicago Tribune Sunday paper – until I was able (barely!) to read the fine print:  Not good at Dollar Tree and Menards locations.  So you can either pay big bucks at other locations after the coupon or a buck at DT and Menards…you do the math.

Bumble Bee recalled three specific UPC codes of its chunk light tuna on Wednesday due to “process deviations that occurred in a co-pack facility not owned or operated by Bumble Bee,” the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported.

“These deviations were part of the commercial sterilization process and could result in contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens, which could lead to life-threatening illness if consumed,” the agency said about both recalls.

The Chicken of the Sea cans may have been undercooked during processing due to equipment malfunction.
