Self-scan discount? Yes, no, not serious
Hate self-checkout? Well, how would you feel about it if your store gave you a 20% discount for scanning and bagging your own groceries?
A second state is now considering making self-checkout discounts mandatory, as well as regulating how many self-checkouts a store can have, and protecting shoppers who accidentally scan their items incorrectly. Here’s the Coupons in the News article for a short read.

Genova Tuna Pouches 24-Pack in Olive Oil for $34.99 ($1.45 each). omg, you need to check out the price in Genova’s Amazon store. Best Buy date is 3/31/24, which is the ONLY reason you’re getting them at this price. I prefer tuna in oil, but it’s so hard to find and those never seem to go on sale.
