why yes, I’m lazy & oh, so cheap

I already know how lazy I am, but do you?  Dollar Tree has Hamburger Helper twinpacks in potatoes Stroganoff.  One box ($1.25), 2 pub burgers (what, 99¢?), free milk from a FB Buy Nothing group and Fage sour cream from a Saturday Sampler.  As long as you give them enough soaking time, the potatoes will be good.

Honestly didn’t notice a meat shortage and used only 25% of what the box called for.

  1. That is a great idea and looks delish! We stocked up on Betty Crocker boxed au gratin potatoes when Kroger had them at 49c in mega sale weeks ago. I never thought about adding the pub burger to it. We love the boxed potatoes and I make a brunch type egg scramble and add in 1/2 box of cooked potatoes. Then with the other half I add it to soups to make them more of a meal. They are much better than you’d think! I am going to make a version like yours next time because we have some Fage left too from Jewel. Comfort food ideas for this blizzard!
