My family (well, except for FirstBorn) likes to eat fish – salmon is always a favorite! I checked the prices (good) at Aldi today with Rachel. I think she only drags me along to speed things up ’cause it’s really weird, but people move quickly to help get me out of the store! She gets the benefit, of course.
Lots of salmon, tilapia and catfish , but creepily enough, all (except the Sockeye) were from China – farm-raised and wild-caught. I don’t know about you, but I have some serious trust issues with Chinese food imports, so this is a wonderful way to stock up for a decent price. Notice I did not say cheap, because I am not that delusional!
This deal showed up on the WH blog page, where they say that it’s nationwide but to check your local store(s) for amounts available. I’ll be heading over tomorrow to the Wheaton store.
