What’s for dinner – rotisserie chicken (today, tomorrow, Saturday…)

Hey, it’s $6.99 less that beautiful $3 coupon in the Jewel booklet – how could you not love it!  I picked up two of these and will have plenty of leftovers for work lunch for DH and tacos tomorrow.  Cooked another batch of my clearance Jasmine rice with the clearance already-cooked wild rice tossed in and some leftover pea pods.

The rotisserie chicken is going to be a huge seller at the deli counter – I strongly recommend calling ahead and having them set aside one or two for you, especially if you’re looking for one of the less-popular varieties (the rosemary, no salt and BBQ, oddly enough, aren’t popular).

  1. I didn’t realize how small they were. You can get a 48oz one at Sam’s and Costco for $4.99 any time. The bonus here is a variety of flavors. I used the coupon at Wal-Mart for a 29oz Lemon-Pepper flavor ($2.98 AC).
