Ok, I’ll admit to not knowing just what the heck is going on here – the last I heard was no Icy-Hot at all until August’s run (it was a special production size for Wags) and Yorkville had almost all of them. Now I get tons of emails and calls that they are in stock in various locations!
So here’s the scoop: Some stores got limited quantities of Icy-Hot – very limited. If you are out and about early today, grab it, because there’s almost a guarantee that stock will not last through even today (my guess is it’s gone as I type this).
Crackerfuls was a Nabisco error, plain and simple. After all the bitching they got from us and Wags (apparently) they agree to ship sufficient quantities directly from their warehouse to the stores and indeed, some stock did show up via UPS. However, their definition of sufficient is not the same as Wags or ours, because most stores got 15 boxes. Yes, that’s right… Steve’s DM told Nabisco that he could move 15,000 in two days and somehow the zeros were lost in the translation. However, the Ritz, Wheat Thins and Triscuit are all on sale for $2 and are generating a $2 Register Reward. The Crackerfuls mfr and store coupons will both work on the Ritz crackers; the Wheat Thins and Triscuits mfr coupons will also work, but not the store one – does that make sense to you? While I’d rather have the Crackerfuls, at least you can get something. If the RR deals goes past tomorrow (Monday), then we can run with this all week. At least something will be going right. If your store is all out of Ritz, then you will still be making the $1 MM with the Wheat Thins and Triscuits.
A small MM is the Ecotrin, on sale for .99 using the in-ad coupon. There is a $1.50 coupon in the 5/1 R, so .51 overage. Make sure you hand over the mfr coupons first and then the weekly ad. Since it’s not an RR deal, you can run these all in one transaction, as long as you have sufficient items in the transaction to use up the combined overage.
If you have any of the Finish $1.50 RRs, you can always use them on the Illy coffee cans, since they don’t have any coupons of their own. Two bucks less the $1.50 means you pay .50 and get back a $2 RR, which goes for another two weeks. I’ve never tried this coffee, so you might want to just buy one for taste.
Iheartwags is reporting that the June IVC booklet has a coupon good for $5 off Applied Nutrition Triple Calcium works with the Triple Calcium on sale for $10 with a $10 RR – it doesn’t. It’s apparently working only on the two products shown on the coupon. We tried it and the coupon doesn’t work with this product – says product not found. Also, Wags corporate just sent out an email that this $5 IVC is NOT to be used with the $10 RR Calcium product. Sorry…
store Q would not work with the Ritz, but the Crackerfuls Q do work with the Ritz.
Just had the illy cappuccino and the macchiato. Both good! but I like the cappuccino better. Yummy with a caffeine buzz.
I drank one of these this afternoon, and then took a 1.5 hour nap. 🙂 I was really tired, having to wake up at 5:30 this morning to play in church. I’ll try another one tomorrow when I’m not so tired.
Wags in Wheaton on Naperville has the Icy hot, but is limiting people to 2. Understandable with the lack of stock.
I just want to give a shout-out to Steve and the Wheaton Wags for all of the work that they do on behalf of us couponers. They are so nice to me, letting me do several transactions to maximize my RR and coupons. So thankful to have this Wags close to my work. 🙂 Thanks Steve, Rich, Joan, Ben, Kevins, Lisa, Krista and all of the rest of you!
You left out poor Terry, the senior BA who rings us all up in cosmetics…for shame!
Funny, I say hi to Terry in the aisles, but rarely purchase cosmetics, so I hardly ever go to her cash register. Joan is by far my favorite. 😉

Just thought I would let you know there is a coupon for the Applied Nutrition Triple Calcium $1/1 inside the box. If you purchase one.. you can get another for $9 with $10 RR? Would that work or do they limit that as well?

There wouldn’t be any problem with using the $1 coupon, since it’s being paid out directly by the manufacturer. The IVC is a wags store coupon, which would dropped the taxable price down to $5 (even sweeter). If this is a product that you use, then I highly recommend buying it as a $1 MM.
Sorry about the double post… lol thought I would stop it and word things different 🙂
