Bad new, folks. The Wags warehouse is empty of Splenda. Lisle is trying to get an order from a private warehouse (to share with Wheaton), the only other Wags warehouse they can use is in Ohio, and would not get the product into our stores before the expiration date on the coupons.
Apparently, this increasingly common situation has nothing to do with the warehouse management, so put away those pitchforks. The Buyer is supposed to tell the warehouse about upcoming deals and promotions, coupons, etc. Buyer must be an idiot (and don’t say it ain’t so, Steve).
LOL, I read quickly and saw that as “pirate warehouse.”
ok so now the warehouse management has to do the buyers job for them?? sux
No, store management has to do the buyer’s job. So why have that extra layer of incompetence you might very well ask? or should be asking…
Does this affect the order that is coming in allegedly tomorrow?
Hah! What order coming in…Lisle’s order was not on the truck today and Steve’s order shows zero, zip, zilch on Splenda for tomorrow. Unless they can pull some out of a private warehouse, we’re all doing road trips.
apparently it did already ’cause my 60 turned into 40 even though the lady who ordered and lost her coupons didn’t pick up the order herself, others picked it up and then some.
Huh…I wonder why Steve said the 27…looks like all my hood wags are stocked time to clean them out!
Road trip with Mariposa everybody! I’ll bring the Chex Mix and Coke Zero.
I could use a road trip right about now! DH is driving me nuts!
Well, I did a quick loop around my area and finished (almost!) clearing out some Wags…although the handy ‘locate in store’ option on the Wags website will show ‘in stock’ you may find ONE @ each store. Not enough to do the deal. And bless the person who noted the granulated variety works for the RR. Apparently, no one in my neck of the woods knew this….
