Honestly have no idea how this amount was determined, but it was 9:55 and I needed to clear out. Two transactions: Used $10 Bayer RR, $5/2 Coppertone mfr coupons and the $1 coupon from the skin care guide. Tossed in the Nips on sale for 79¢ with the in-ad coupon. Each transaction was $1.94, mostly high tax. weird

The Dark Side of Couponing
The same thing happened to me and upon checking my receipt I saw that the Coppertone was ringing up Buy 1 Get 1 50% off! Better deal than I originally anticipated.
This week’s sales turned on early. So you got the benefit of both as did I. My procrastination paid off this time. 🙂
Ahh, that explains it. You pay about $4 less and can’t take off one of the $1 store coupons, but to just pay mostly tax? I’m okay with that. Those new Wags registers pretty much suck, though…
