Not much is going on at Wags over the next week or two, but unadvertised stuff hits the fan all the time, so I wouldn’t take a long nap just yet. Here’s a few things coming down the pike for the sale starting July 10:
Wags brand women’s 6-blade razor system will be on sale for $3.99 with $4 Register Reward. If you have not yet accumulated a razor stockpile, this would be a good time to pick up a few (or ten) until a MM comes along. Theresa at the Montgomery Wags tells me she has stockpiled at least a hundred of these, so give her a call or drive over. Don’t really understand this need for multiple razor blades. Maybe two or three, but what happens at 15? Would you need to prop up your elbow just to hold the razor? Maybe by then they’ll come with wall mounts…
Hyland’s teething gel will be on sale for $5 with a $5 Register Reward. At first I thought it said Highland and immediately thought of whiskey instead of a homeopathic remedy. Print out this $1 hylands teething pdf coupon and you’ll have a small MM.
EOS (stands for Evolution of Smooth) products are supposed to be da bomb, though I’ve never
personally tried them. Their shaving creams and lip balms will be on sale for 2/$6 with a $4 Register Reward. No coupons out there yet, except for $1 peelies for the shaving cream on some BIC Soleil disposable shavers.
The Soft Soap hand soaps will be on sale for .99. No coupons out there at present and usually they are low-value ones, but some people can’t live without this stuff, so that’s why I’m putting it out there.
Is there anything hitting the fan at present? I’ve been so focused on jeweling….
Seriously, Wags has been a snoozefest lately. If it weren’t for all the Seattle’s Best coffee Steve is pushing out (thanks in large part to our coupons), he could almost reduce his staff! I’m kind of relieved, though, because I can concentrate more fully on squeezing the most out of my remaining wine tags. And come on, I’d rather have more meat in my freezer than another ten tubes of Colgate toothpaste in the basement.
6 blades now? Somebody should just come out with a 10 blade razor.
just thinking of the cuts you could get from that many blades, well its makin the hair stand up on my arms!
Justin you are much to young to know about this…Hey Goddess, remember the cuts we used to give ourselves using those old, flat single blades?? some of them were so deep the skin was white and initially didn’t bleed then you couldn’t get ’em to stop bleeding?! makin’ me cringe just thinkin’ about ’em.
Shhhh, I have NO idea what you’re talking about. You are obviously insane. Justin, ignore this crazy lady.
Seriously, Steve and I were laughing about this item; he imagined having to use two hands to hold up the razor and I said you’d end up propping up your hand on the sink and moving your face around.
Has anyone had problems lately with UPC codes on Walgreens RR not scanning at Jewel? I’ve had that exact problem the last 2 times I’ve been to Jewel- no beep, no registering something and then refusing it, just no acknowledging that a UPC code went across the scanner. One cashier just put them in manually, and another put in the number beneath the UPC code and it went through fine.
Has anyone heard rumors of RR not working any more at Jewel? I haven’t, and I sure hope that they do still work at Jewel. RR are how I finance all of my groceries these days. I got $19 of groceries today for $.51.
I’ve had problems with RRs in the past, but this was using them at Wags (also had the same thing happen at Jewel with Jewel cats)! I think that occasionally the printers screw up and the ink doesn’t make the code easily read by the scanners.
And no, I’ve not heard any rumors about not using RRs at Jewel; that would take away one of our reasons for living.
