That’s the biggest thing I miss at Dominicks – clearance items!  So imagine how thrilled I’ve been over the past couple of weeks at the new Ultra remodels, which include huge produce sections and expanded organic perishable dairy coolers.

You see here about $34 (yes, I know a fortune for me!) worth of mostly organic products:  1/2 gallon of Organic Valley whole milk, six Cracker Barrel fresh asiago cheese, four Toll House Turtle cookies, three Stoneyfield chia and blood orange greek yogurt (this was a 99¢ splurge ’cause it sounded so tasty), three Organic Valley heavy cream, Tropicana lot of pulp OJ, two Organic Valley packs of sliced cheddar cheese and one of shreds.  So I guess it’s not that outrageous an amount!

Seriously, if you’re gonna buy fat-free, lactose free milk, why not just drink water?  Most of the other Lactose Free were even cheaper – 99¢!
