The original Trib guy at the Lisle Jewel is back. Marc Goodman spoke with many of you on the phone during the Trib’s earlier promotion and he’s back with mostly the same deal, except this time he’s throwing in adult t-shirts with either White Sox or Cubs logos together with your $5 gift card.

I ordered 3 papers from Marc, got the papers, have not gotten the Jewel gift cards.
Called Marc and he referred me to his supervisor.
Spoke with his supervisor, no gift cards.
Called Marc again, and now he’s not returning my calls.
Friday, I’m calling the Trib and cancelling ALL my subscriptions.
I’m done.
never mind, they were in the mail at the house tonight.

Immediately upon getting this email I called Marc’s voice mail, read your comment and left a strong message. If I don’t get a call by tomorrow morning, please do cancel and I’ll remove this post.
OK, Marc called me back IMMEDIATELY. He is very upset because Alyssa (his supervisor) keeps claiming that she not only mailed them out to you, but she paid extra for proof. Do I believe this bitch? hahahahah and your check is in the mail. Marc is stuck in the middle, but is going to call you as soon as I hang up to offer you gift cards out of his own pocket, to be sent as you choose.
Marc did indeed call me and I confirmed that I have the gift cards.
Um, we work, which is why there was no one to sign for the package.
