Pita and I went for a frolicking detour drive and stopped, purely for fun, at a TRU.  Whole pegboard of Tracfones @ 75% off, which resulted in this phone being $2.42 with tax!  Lots of those phones that look like Blackberry clones for $24 (or $6 after discount).  Do I have a need for this?  Heck, no, and maybe I’ve been reading too many chick lit books where they end up on the lam…Tried to pay with a TRU gift card from some long-ago deal – – it expired in February!  Cashier asked me if I wanted to sign up for their loyalty card.  Considering that I’m not even in here enough to use up a gift card before it expired five months ago it’s not something that would be useful.  Yeah, but it’s free…sigh

Stopped at Salvation Army and got all these books plus two calendars (our old calendar ended in June!) for under $4!
