Unless this is your first time at the rodeo, you already know that the best catalina promotions are the ones that utilize BOGO and high-value coupons! Yes, that’s the bottom line right there. Here’s a few of the deals I’m running with the new P&G promotion starting tomorrow, October 29th – note that some of these involve coupons from the October P&G insert that expires on 10/31…so don’t delay. Remember, you can always run the transactions and post-redeem your coupons at a later date (within 60 days) even if the coupons have since expired, since they were valid on the date of purchase. Also, Jewel allows coupons on the products purchased using a BOGO coupon (the first item, not the BOGO item), which brings the cost down even further.

Old Spice body wash and Pantene shampoo and conditioners are 2/$7, but the best Old Spice coupons are $2/2 – definitely the way to go is with Pantene, because you are utilizing a BOGO coupon plus a conditioner or styling coupon. to hit the magic $35 threshold. As in:
FOUR Pantene shampoos or conditioners plus FOUR Pantene styling products for $28. Use the four Pantene BOGO coupons from the November P&G with the various value conditioner coupons October or November P&G or the 9/14 S. I can’t guess which coupons you all have available (I’ve used up most of my $5/3 on clearance Pantene), so grab those that save the most.
Note: If you’re running deals like I do, you will not be buying conditioners with the BOGO, but instead the non-sale styling products since the coupon value goes up to $5 and that will bring you up to the $35 threshold much faster and with no need for massive quantities of Febreze candles! not that there’s anything wrong with that…
Add something else to bring you up to $35; using the high value coupon scenario, I’m gonna grab lots of Febreze candles, since they don’t expire or lose gas (like the sprays). Febreze products are 2/$5 and there’s a BOGO Febreze candle coupon in the November P&G plus a $1 Febreze candle coupon in the October P&G. Grab FOUR of them.
So where are we with this scenario? We’ve purchased $38 worth of products ($28 of Pantene and $10 of Febreze), which puts us over the $35 threshold for the $15 catalina. Pay with four of the Pantene BOGO coupons ($14) less the the various conditioner/products coupons ($5/3 or $3/2 or $2/2 or the printables above). Now you’re down to $16. Add your two Febreze BOGO candle coupons ($5) and you’re down to $11+. I, obviously, will be doing even better, and will run a few different transactions tomorrow and post as early as possible. Maybe a way to combine the Tide with this other stuff? ’cause everyone likes Tide!
I promise!!! I’m excited about this one, since I’ll finally be able to grab some cookware!!!!

Will we be able to roll the cat into the next transaction and so on ??
This is one that we have always been able to roll, roll, roll, merrily along. I’m hitting the store early tomorrow and will test and then post.
One thing that is pretty much a given is that there will be plenty of items on the list that have NOT been entered into the system, so it should be fun!
SO EXCITED !
Oh, you and me both! Remembering the days when we were able to get our Wesson oil for .50 and last year’s Puffs for pennies a big box…
We still have deals, just not as many, so it makes huge economic sense to stock up on the non-perishables like shampoo for the next year.
I will try and hit the store early too, but the shelves get cleared soooo quickly !!!!
