Tried these NV Oatmeal soft squares at BlogHer2013 and they were pretty tasty! This week Dominicks has them on an instant savings when you buy 4 boxes – it drops to $1.49 each (it’s a limit 4 deal [You can choose other varieties, but the coupons are only 50¢.]) Use the 75¢ coupon from 7/28 S 1 and pay $2.96. Out pops a $2 OYNO cat! If you buy less or more, the numbers won’t work as well (buy 3 get $1, buy 4 get $2, buy 5 get $3). So buy one set, pay $2.96 and the next set is only 96¢ – with another $2 cat.
Egg-land’s eggs are only $2.49 when you add them to your card, limit 2 (while I still have a few of the FREE coupons, I’m saving them for times without sales). I decided to use my BOGO Sobe coupons because Dominicks has the same BOGO sale as CVS will have next week with a larger variety (coconut water, anyone?). The Egg-land’s eggs rang up at $3.59(!), so I got cash back at the service desk with no trouble. PITA was upset that I wasn’t buying the more expensive organic eggs, but I showed her that these say vegetarian feed on them, so she was slightly mollified – well, as mollified as a teenager can ever be…

What Dominick’s did this work for you – 63rd/Downers? Over on MUM some chatter about not working at some locations which is weird but we are talking about Dominick’s! LOL.
Yes, the 63rd store; even when stuff doesn’t work (ha! Dominicks!), they make it right without PROOF that you actually have the deal on your card (in the case of the eggs). And I doubled-checked on the eggs when I got home and they were the right ones, but I not only didn’t get the J4U price, I didn’t even get the loyalty card price!
Yep! If you can admit you *like* a Dominick’s that one you could say is coupon friendly! Thx!

Waste of time. Two Dominicks…didn’t work at either (Woodridge & Naperville)…they won’t honor because it’s not marked on the shelf.
Wait, the Woodridge on 63rd? They had tags yesterday. Man, this is getting weirder and weirder. Eggs marked on the shelf come up as non-preferred price, now no tags on NV bars. I give up, frankly. I’m sorry all this is happening.
Yes, that store. It didn’t help that Julie was not working CS today; it was that dumbass with the “you’re trying to scam us” attitude that has been there for years…they need to get rid of her. The oatmeal bars were marked $2.49, not $4 off 4.
Brian- you are so right about that woman. I was there this morning about 9 am and they had they tags up. The tags were up at Rt. 83 this afternoon around three if you live in that area.
As for that woman, I had a question about my receipt this morning so they me directed to CS and she was her usual bitch self. I walked away from her because she thinks she is always right. She tried to tell me that you onlly get one deal, JFU price or the $4.00 off. Lucky for me Scott, a manager was within ear shot and boy did she start back Ended up it all worked out they way it should have…thanks to Scott but I am going to have a chat with Scott next time he is there and she isn’t. We should be fired!!!
