Reader brags post

I’m sharing a picture I just got from Christina who says:   I sent a photo from my phone to my email, cuz I am technologically challenged. (And I can’t type as fast on those tiny keys!) I got all that for under $5! There is chap sticks and gum missing, because we used them, and threw them in our purses! My daughters were so ecstatic, as they only get like NEW socks and underwear. (We got four more pairs [of jeans] after that picture.)

I ran around yesterday and today, I scored big on Fruity Pebbles! AND the first lady used the ‘additional blue’ pebbles (FOR BOXES!) coupons too—as it spit out of the machine! I was like what?! She said if it scans, I figure go for it. I am still so green, I was like cool, but whatever… I only paid $1.95 for my sets of five and didn’t know it till I got home!!! No wonder I couldn’t get the damn fillers to fill up my orders!!! Guess which Walgreen’s is my new favorite!? Actually, I always liked my store, but some of the other stores have sooooooooooo much more room/merchandise! AND they just got approved for a new one like a mile from the closest to my house!

Life is Good!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Thank you for sharing your post and picture, Christina.  I know how excited your girls must be to have so many new, “stylish” jeans and jeggings to choose from.

Swagbucks

Search & Win

Since I just “purchased” my second Amazon gift card using Swagbucks, I decided to post about them.  Swagbucks is a search engine that claims to be a full-search engine – to which I say “HA” and ha yet again.  It does pull up a lot of sponsored sites (which is certainly easy to ignore); in point of fact, though, I think they’ve improved over the past few months.  If I search for a different site it usually gets me there.

Having said that, I use it mainly for when I’m going to sites for which I already know the address.  After a certain number of searches you earn 5, 6, 7, up to 11 swagbucks, which are automatically deposited into your account.  You can use these swagbucks to purchase things at the swagstore.  Easy, huh?  Well, actually, it is.  And there is often an alert to earn extra swagbucks code by visiting a specific site.  I choose the $5 Amazon gift card which costs 450 swagbucks.  Visit the store, buy the card and the code is emailed to you.  You apply the code to your Amazon account in the gift card section and boom!  You have an additional $5 to spend on stuff.

So what, you say.  It’s only five bucks!  Well, true, but then I’m not doing anything other than my usual searches:  I’ve never downloaded their toolbar, I don’t watch the dumb TV and have only attempted one or two surveys (for which I failed to qualify, I might add) – all the things that bring the most points.  There are actually people out there who try to earn over 480 swagbucks a day.  So let’s see, spend all day running commercials, trying out for surveys, swagbucks TV to earn the munificent sum of ……..five bucks… i pass

Super Swagbucks Day

Apparently today you can earn extra Swagbucks by using their search engine a few times; I ran about 5 or 6 quick searches and a box came up awarding me 10 Swagbucks. We now return to our regularly scheduled Google…

I force myself to do this at least one time every day.  I’m up to 166 Swagbucks since I enrolled (a few days ago?) We’ll see how many bucks I can accumulate…

Late night Swag code

Here is a code for 7 swag bucks – note that it expires at midnight.  Now I can’t seem to drag myself away from this site! HELP ME!

Swagbucks

Search & WinI’ve waffled about this search site for quite some time now; it’s not as all-encompassing as say, Google, but it pays you…hmmmm.  And they have a tab for printing coupons (it’s coupons.com, so print on my site and their site) that they pay you to use – double hmmmm!   So I’m taking the MUM idea of using it to go to sites that I would go to anyway and just bank the points.   I see that many of my viewers use this to get to deranged.me, so obviously they are all way smarter than I!  I’m going to put this as a sticky for the next few days or so to remind you all, that if you’re not yet registered, do it now!  I’ll periodically post new Swag codes as they come up.  By next year we’ll all be swimming in free money!

Just completed my first Swagbucks survey for 50 Swagbucks (which was surprisingly interesting) after having been unqualified for about a bazillion others…
