Since the 1987 release of the international hit single “Bamboleo,” the Gipsy Kings have sold more than 14 million albums worldwide, with more than four million in the United States alone. The group has released 15 albums, including their most recent, Pasajero. The band’s vigorous guitar work and passionate vocals are highly influenced by the musical tradition known as rumba flamenca.
