Disney on Ice presents Toy Story 3 is the $30 for $60 value today.  Back in the dark ages, my mom treated us to Beauty and the Beast on Ice (well I said it was a long time ago).   I’m posting this ’cause it’s a wonderful holiday memory to make;  note that the 30 bucks doesn’t include those horrific Ticketmaster service fees and bend over charges usually assessed by them.

We used to take the kids to Brookfield Zoo every year for Breakfast with Santa – majorly expensive, but majorly cool.  They even had reindeers!

This is a sweet memory for you to make on the cheap(er).  Brookfield Zoo’s Holiday magic for $13 (50% off).  My kids and I would go year after year; of course, they don’t remember any of it now, but the lights are always beautiful and the lane of Christmas trees decorated by local schools was also fun to check out.  The program seems to have gotten much larger, at least by looking at the lighting displays online, so the ooh and ahh factor has grown exponentially.
