The deals are ending, the deals are ending

Racing around to get the last of the weekly deals…Picked up 13 packages of turkey bacon and a jar of hot giardiniera from Butera to use up the penny overage; OOP was $2.63

Next off to Jewel to get more hot dogs and Kraft cheese.  Also redeemed my raincheck for 60 of the Aquapods.   So the hot dogs and cheese cost me taxes and earned me 5 more stamps.  Aquapods were $1.07 each transaction, get back $3.  While I could have run it for free (without any OOP), I chose to make it a MM.  I did 15 transactions ($45) for which I spent $16.05.  I’m happy, although it’s safe to say my husband is less than thrilled.

Free Turkey Bacon

Mashupmom has a great link to print out $1/1 Butterball coupons.  Coincidentally, it’s .99 at Butera.  Print, close window, open link and print one more.  My family likes this stuff, I don’t.  Husband likes it ’cause it cooks up nice and flat.  Honestly, you’d need to use a curling iron to get a a wave with this stuff.

Kelloggs Catalina and Rebate (updated 8/13)

Just got back from Butera (now part of the Piggly Wiggly chain) where I picked up 10 boxes of Cinnabon bars.  This is the second round I’ve bought this sale week.  When you buy 10 boxes of Kelloggs products, you get a $10 catalina good OYNO.  So the cost of 10 was $16.90 ($1.69 each), less $5 in coupons, plus tax and you’re at $12.20 for ten boxes.  Taking the $10 cat into consideration makes it a good deal, but WAIT!!! There’s also a Kelloggs rebate out there (credit to buyforlessok).  Send in the rebate with receipt and UPCs on ten boxes and get $10 back.  So Kelloggs is paying us almost $8 to take home some really good breakfast/snack bars.  We bought the apple ones last week and boy are they good; not too sweet or sticky.  Hope the original ones I just bought are as good.
