Oh my oh my, this week is going to blow all records since August of 2009, which I always have to cross myself when I say that (at least I stopped genuflecting!). Here’s a list of what I just picked up at Dominicks:
16 boxes of Hefty sliders, quart and gallon sizes (no use for other types/sizes)
8 boxes of Dole Fruit Squish ’ems!
12 4 ct packs of Tide to go stain eraser
Use the $3/3 Tide coupon from the 9/1 P&G insert. I had read that this coupon was beeping, but had no issues (I ran this at customer service, if that makes a difference. This coupon specifically mentions Tide to go.

Yes, it was PITA with me, but that isn’t my husband, but a couponing friend! Although most days I’m sure my DH would like to trade… But they only had the 8 boxes total on Dole. My friend placed a special up north where he lives for 138 boxes, but they didn’t have the apple strawberry and he wanted to see the Woodridge store (my favorite Dominicks).
I was only gonna try the Dole because they would have been free. I really was there for the Fruit roll-ups and granola bars.

Does hubs know about your “coupon friend?”
DH is thrilled that he isn’t being dragged around to carry groceries and doesn’t have to listen to coupon deals and stories! And can sit at home and watch football and drink beer. Jeez, what a boring life!

The Tide to go beeped for me when I bought 3 and used one 3/3, but maybe because of the 3 cent overage (?) Did your last coupon beep?
No, I didn’t hear a beep, but you’re right, maybe the overage was taken up by the Hefty bags. Then again, maybe there’s something hinky about the registers at customer service!
At least you could even drag your DH to the stores once in a while. Unless I tell my DH he can buy ANYTHING his little heart desires he will NOT step foot in a grocery store!
