Last week when Rachel did the Sears blog-thing (am I the official MUM videographer?), I saw these great rubber boots for $19.98.  Though they are my size, they are intended as a Christmas present for a friend [wipes a tear from her eye as she speaks].  As I stated in the earlier post, I was not super impressed with Sears prices, finding them rather higher than other stores.  One thing that did impress me, however, was the caliber of staff working there.  In every department we were greeted by friendly sales people who were only too willing to answer our questions and make suggestions.  Almost all had been working for Sears since Jesus bought his sandals in the shoe department and their experience plainly showed.  That’s one positive comment I can gladly make.
