Reader writes about the following problems with her February order from Eversave. The purchase was through a third party which did not deliver the product, so she requested a refund from Eversave. I can understand delays in shipping, etc., but anything more than a month is ridiculous! Always contact the company and deal site, if different, before it’s too late to dispute your cc charge.
I ordered those Chinese Fire Lanterns back in Febrary (16th) from Eversave. I got one email in regards to the delay on March 20th, stating I would receive a tracking number within 7-10 business days. No dice. I finally just requested a refund from Eversave. However, the company is thehipster.co. I would like to warn others to the fact that no one will reply or refund after two months plus.
I also ordered these, I have been emailing them 1x a week for an update with only 1 response, same as above. I am going to wait 1 more week before I go buck wild….has anyone received these from the hipster.com?
Got this from Eversave
To be perfectly frank, I am not confident that the items will ever ship. You certainly can wait, because there is a slight chance, but I would recommned a refund at this time. Please advise.
Well, at least you know Eversave stands behind their deals, which is excellent news as far as I’m concerned. Thanks for this update.
Well shit, Now I know why I will NEVER get a refund from eversave for a travel deal gone awry…if they can’t even refund some peeps for lanterns they sure as hell aren’t going to refund my money for a travel deal they falsely advertised…I am going to the better business bureau! It is good to know I’m not the only one getting the runaround from them!
I think they are standing behind their deal, that is why they are refunding me and helping me get my $$$ back from the hipster. We will see how that goes…
I thought the Eversave email stated just the opposite! They advised issuing GMoney a refund because they didn’t believe the items would ship. Did you actually contact Eversave or just the company (not) issuing the voucher?
I have contacted eversave regarding a travel deal I purchased last summer…because it has been over 60 days eversave tells me they cannot issue a refund…the issue is that there is NOTHING in the fine print that says eversave or the company reserve the right to switch the hotel listed in the deal I bought. Due to my DH’s picky work schedule we can ONLY travel during a certain wk. This hotel is NOT overbooked but what eversave is telling me is that the hotel ONLY has a few rooms reserved for their deal so they switched the hotel on us…now they are refusing to at least make good on the deal that was sold in the sense that I will NOW have to pay extra fees, pay for internet and the new hotel gets poor reviews. I am getting the runaround and just want to stay at the hotel that was advertised in the deal…this is very sneaky and poor business sense IMO.
I actually JUST saw this… but my experience taught me BIG! Eversave did indeed refund, 2 days from request, directly into my bank account. I only am owed from hipster.com the $5 additonal I paid for the lanterns to ship. I figure that isn’t worth the time to fight. (I googled it and saw several other dissatified people with hipster.com on blogs.) However, Eversave offered me to carry over my balance and apply it to another save. I didn’t get the first one, so why try again??? I figure integrity must play into their site if they expect REPEAT business, right? I unsubscribed from their deals. – Becky – if there is nothing in the fine print to allow them to ‘change’ what they did, be relentless. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. Best of luck!
Just buzzed home and I can’t believe it but HIPSTER is sending a refund of my shipping!!!! Yeah! I seriously can’t believe it! I will actually look at Eversaves deals again!
