It gives me joy as a bad mother to know that we’ve been experiencing better weather here in Chicago over the past few days (forget today!) than FirstBorn has in Las Vegas 🙂  Monday it rained and yesterday had a high of 64° with drizzle – my backyard was 84° and sunny.

Yesterday FirstBorn and friend went to this unknown eatery – Stripburger – in the same building as Maggiano’s Little Italy.  Is this entire nation now just a series of national chains?
