I dropped off ten of the $25 Miller rebate forms at CVS along with a couple of envelopes for people.
I WON $2! in that stupid Jewel contest! Seriously! And you were all impressed with the two donuts I won, right? So who knew I’d score the big one?! Ran two transactions (one only Scott) with two loaves of French bread (BOGO and $1 coupon – both IPs) and a pound of organic bananas (FREE cat). PITA also “found” a cat for a free half-gallon of Smart Balance Lactose-free milk, which my Jewel doesn’t carry, so I’ll keep it around for another store.
Congrats on the bug win!! Don’t spend it all in 1 place.
Whee…. So far I have won a free bottle of Heinz chili sauce(?!) and two donuts in about 75 game cards. I think I’d rather have a pan….
But hey, I am 1 sticker away from 8 different prizes, so I’m sure to hit the big one soon, right???!?
PITA and I laughed and laughed over your comment. Seriously, this is such a crappy game that I didn’t even stop there today for double game piece day. Husband stopped in for tortillas, didn’t use his preferred card and I never even screamed at him.
Nuts I missed the $25 Miller rebates. Stopped at the CVS last night around 7:30 and the guys behind the counter couldn’t find any, just the Coors. Oh well it wasn’t a lost cause. I stopped by the Jewel in Wheaton @ Naperville and Butterfield on the way home and guess who had hams??? Anyways I spent the last of my $5 off of $25 and spent a bit more than I wanted, $9.98 (not terrible since it started at $66 before coupons, but I picked up lots of produce, Scott deal, 4 Cranberry naturals (need to stop by MashUpMom and thank her for that tip) and other stuff as well.
Oh and just a heads up the Jewel at Butterfield and Naperville road does carry the Smart Balance Latose free milk.
Thanks, I’ll have to hit them up before the cat expires.
No you didn’t miss it – I gave them 10 or 11 in a stack. They just couldn’t find it, that’s all. They only saw the ones Emily had earlier. ALWAYS go to the women there, the men are pretty clueless about coupons, rebates, etc. And they have agreed with me on this.
Hmmm, the guy behind the counter even pulled over one of the women associates and she couldn’t find them either.
I should say they weren’t with the other stash of envelopes with the Coors rebates and stuff.
This is what happens when Emily is off one day. Since I doubt that that many people took the rebates (unless one person took them all), I’ll get in touch with Emily and straighten this out.
