For those of you trying to stay one step ahead of the shelf-clearers, I suggest following me on Twitter.  I was one of those people who just didn’t see the point of all this instant nonsense; I mean, do I really lead such a busy and fascinating life that Ashton Kutcher would be following me (or was that the other way around)?  Then I realized that signing up for various sites allows me to see what’s happening – dealwise – in real time.  Every time a site I follow posts something, I see the first line and can decide if it’s something worthwhile.  No more checking in several times a day in case I might have missed something.  easy peasy.  Try it and join me in the 20th century…we ‘re still working our way up to the 21st…
