There is a $2/1 Nylabone pdf coupon on their website for edible products (not those big ole bone things). PetSmart is having a clearance on several types of the individual packs: one is .77 each and another is 1.54. The Wheaton store mgr had informed some staff that it was fine to use this coupon against the clearanced packs (approximately 3 for each 
coupon), but apparently the word did not drift down to the asst mgr working when I stopped in. If your store takes it, great – free treats! Some PetSmart stores have total jackasses in charge, others are all fantastic from the top down.

The Dark Side of Couponing
Which wheaton store manager? I was at danada today and the manager refused to let me use the coupons to purchase anything less than $2/item.
Right store. When I was there looking around, one of the staff came over to ask if she could help me. I told her what I was looking for and she said the manager had told her (and let some other customer use them) that the coupons could be used on the .77 items but not for overage, so approximately 3 for every coupon. Which I was completely fine with. When I went to check out, the cashier called over the assistant manager, who said that you couldn’t use the coupon because it was for the multiple product packages, not the singles. I asked where it said that. She indicated the picture. I said that it’s the wording that determines the coupon’s acceptance, that the picture is just a representation of possible products. Didn’t work, can’t fix stupid, so I had them void the sale. Obviously the girl who told me one thing wasn’t going to go against the asst mgr. I don’t ike that store, never have; go further afield and shop at the one on Butterfield by the Best Buy. I’ve never had a problem there…Now that I think about it, the Danda store was also the only store that tried to limit me on the Purina Pro coupons for the free bags of dog and/or cat food (up to $14 – remember?) back in when, February of 2010? Didn’t want to give me 20 or 30, even though there would be a buttload still remaining on the shelves.
