All this Beef Stew for pennies per person

It’s the time of year for hearty foods that don’t require much hands-on preparation and this beef stew fits the bill 100%.  Two packages of Pre grass-fed 24 oz chuck roasts for $3.62 each after 25% off sale, 50% off sticker and $2 Ibotta rebate (also got 25 points on the receipt from Fetch Rewards.  Bought five some months ago and popped them in the freezer (they’re vacuum-sealed).  Veggies were Earthbound organic that are normally very expensive – the large snacking trays on clearance were only $2.99!  Baking potatoes were 25¢/lb and one onion.  I’m estimating high at about $12.50 to include seasonings & some clearance jars of cooking sauce.

This is a big cast iron Dutch oven and will provide many meals over the next week – storage on the back porch since it’s colder than the fridge this time of year.

70% off Amazon Livestream Experiences

Had no idea this even existed, but Amazon Experiences apparently is a real thing!  LIVESTREAM tours of places you would not even think of (we all know Rome, but how about a sanctuary for senior dogs?).  Stuck inside for whatever reasons, explore from your couch.  Great teaching tool for the kids since your guides can answer questions, since it’s live streamed.  wow, just wow.

Kindle reads from 99 cents today

Nice selection of genres today on Amazon – I picked this one ’cause it came out this year and was really, really, really good.  Two timelines (18th century & present day London) and two strong women.  Lots of great choices here when you don’t want to leave the nest.
