By now you’ve read the comments from people who are less than thrilled with their one box of 125 ct Kleenex for $2.78 plus $9.95 for shipping. I couldn’t catch the UPS guy to refuse the puny box (well, not really puny, considering it only holds one box), so I called Office Depot and told them to come and take it back. They’ll call me when they’ve gotten the paperwork completed (it still showed as undelivered on their computers).
I’m not really concerned about the Kleenex – let’s just say I’m well-stocked and leave it at that. I’m waiting to see what shows up on all our other orders, especially the ones that have DermaSoft hand and body lotion. As a reader pointed out, nowhere does it say one bottle, all references are to a box of 48.
I just spoke to CS. They said to keep the two boxes of tissue and they would send out the correct order of 96. I’m totally not holding my breath, but…it’s worth a chance.
I also called and spoke with a CS rep from OD and she told me that item # was for a box of 48. Then she back tracked and said that it was for ONE single box of kleenex. I told her that no one in their right mind would pay $2.78 for ONE single box shipped to their home with almost $10 shipping fee. She said they come in cases to their warehouse and the online price is for one single box. My response…”your customers are NOT interested in how your warehouse has it’s goods delivered and we do NOT care that you take single items from that box IF we order one single box. What we DO care about is the fact that your description STATED we are purchasing one box, quantity of 48!” She said they would check in to that matter and call me tomorrow. So I will be getting a call today from them. I will let you know what they say. I did order the aloe cream that specifically stated the price was .89cents for a CASE. We will see what happens with that one also.
just got my email that the cream order has been ‘cancelled as the item is discontinued’ and not charged to the credit card.

i just got a fed ex delvry with one single bottle of skin conditioner. called od, and told them to cancel the whole order/4 items. because they are all “special order” items, they have to have another dept call me back w/in 4 hours to cancel. i told the rep they had better reimburse for entire amount, incl delivery charge. i im not going to hold out and wait for the fight. i really dont think they will honor their error.
my update…they called me a little bit ago and told me to leave my 6 single boxes of kleenex on the porch. They will pick them up tomorrow and deliver my 6 cases at the same time.
