The No Pants Subway Event started in 2002 in NYC – natch – and spread from there.  Each year a group of riders get on the train sans-culottes and act like everyone else, which tends to freak out other people riding!  This year’s ride takes place on January 12th beginning at noon at the Loyala Station on the Red Line, traveling into the Loop.  Here’s the details.
