Luckily it’s only a short drive to the food pantry ’cause my vision was rather obstructed. and it’s hard to drive with PITA going “oof” every time I made a turn…

I bet you got some funny looks at stop lights….
You should have tossed some out the window at people…LOL
You should have seen the faces on the people walking in/out of the door (I was parked in the loading/fire lane in front). I said to the guy helping me load – what, they never saw anybody buying cookies before?
And when I dropped them off at the pantry I said I had some more of the Chips Ahoy cups over the intercom. She was surprised when she came out…
Hey, you know what? I was just talking about this with a friend – how important it is to not only donate healthy foods for families, but the fun stuff too! The kids of the families benefiting from the food pantry to survive deserve to feel a little “normal”, like the other kids at school. They feel enough stress in their young lives being in that situation. Thankfully, my son was small enough that he never really was affected at that time, but I can’t imagine seeing the look on his face if he were in school and not being able to bring a decent lunch, including some goodies! Good for you!
I agree Beth and it’s a tough world these days. We make cookies here regularly and pass them around to friends, teachers, and family. Cookies are just fun & everyone lights up when they get them.
And Goddess, every “little” bit helps! It’s great you share your talents and abundance!

Good for you! Helping people one cookie at a time! 🙂
well, they’re very small cookies – maybe only a little help?
