I can just imagine someone calling Ultra corporate to complain that their cherries only contained pits, not the advertised filling. Were I in customer service, I’d say that the pits were the antioxidant filling! which is why i’m not on that side of the counter…

Actually, if you want cheap cherries, Jerry’s Fruit and Garden in Niles has them for 98 cents/lb, July 24-27 (http://www.jerrysfruitandgarden.com/no-specials-at-this-moment), and the same price for blueberries, grapes, and strawberries. Not sure what they’re filled with.
