Motrin PM Update

OK, there is something wonky going on with the Motrin PM deal – the RR isn’t printing.  Wheaton is well-aware of this SNAFU and will be contacting Catalina Marketing early Monday morning to straighten it out.  Wheaton wishes to advise everyone that they will be extending the days they accept the coupon (well, they were already going to, right?), so don’t try it ’cause it won’t work.  And don’t look for the RR info in your ad…  I will post immediately when they’ve straightened this out.

This sucks ’cause I wanted to roll the Motrin PM RR into the Cottonelle purchase (throwing in those little .17 clearance eyeliners by cosmetics).  Now, boo.  Is it my imagination or have we been getting dumped on more often than previously?  At least we’ll be able to spend our RRs at Jewel on groceries ’cause they haven’t had any deals for free food lately!

  1. At least Wheaton gives a damn! The stores up here in the boondocks could care less if we get the RR’s or not…in fact they would secretly smile w/glee! HA!

  2. The jewel next to the wheaton walgreens will no longer accept the rr’s that have “redeemable at walgreens only” and it seems that all the rr’s say that now.

    • Troubling if true, because the new Store Manager is supposed to be uber coupon-friendly. Was this told to you by a cashier or one of those late night “front end manager” who seem to be dumber than a box of rocks? Didn’t we have this conversation a few months ago and it turned out that the Jewel coupon policy specifically addresses this? Here it is from June 13: NOTE: Jewel-Osco and other retailers issue coupons such as printed ad media coupons that are manufacturer coupons and contain the words “redeemable only at their retailer (e.g. Dominick’s, Walgreens) this type of coupon is redeemable at Jewel-Osco as long as the coupons states “Manufacturer Coupon”. If you plan to shop there regularly, print out their official coupon policy and if they still give you grief, call Kathy Larson at corporate. That’ll learn ’em.
