Lunch on the cheap (or my way, natch)

Catch FirstBorn looking through the Jewel ad, thinking I’ll pick up some brats and buns ’cause “he’s got a taste” for them.  With all the food in the fridge and freezer it’s ain’t likely, boy!  Pita and I just got back from errands and I prepared lunch in about 15 minutes, using leftovers.  Rice was fried with a bag of frozen veggies, leftover salmon for tacos, reheated beans and my newest attempt, watermelon salad with feta cheese & balsamic reduction plus flat leaf parsley garnish.

Give him a taste, indeed.  Of course, he doesn’t like seafood, but there’s always grilled chicken breasts…
