Another place I’ve known and loved is what used to be the Eldridge Street Dumpling House, obviously on Eldridge Street! btw, when you get all the way down to the really old parts of Manhattan, the streets go back to names…or should I say they never were numbered, like the rest of Manhattan. This is old country, folks. Well, turns out there’s a Vanessa’s Dumpling House on 14th street, so I stopped there on the way back from getting cheese and grabbed the two pancakes (sesame seed and chives) and boiled dumplings for lunch and an early dinner (or snack). Dumplings were $3.99 and the total was $7.16. Ate the 8 dumplings and will munch on the sandwiches while I walk around.
