If it’s cold enough to have the heat on 24/7, time to start baking – have to justify a year of Bake Off!  First loaf of the season, mixed with lots of white cheddar powder from my recent Amazon purchase (check the post ’cause everything’s been working out awesomely).  Brownies a few days ago plus two cinnamon coffee cakes yesterday.  Tomorrow will be a pureed lentil curry (with my new immersion blender) over royal rice medley.  My best equipment purchase so far – the instant read thermometer.  Use it for EVERYTHING (even air temp!).
