Spent most of the day in Oak Park between the dentist and my mom’s…and then hunting down the elusive Ecotrin and Youtheory tablets at different Wags.  It’s a rough life, being a hunter/gathere.  was able to score more of the $100 Vitamin books, though…

So get home and find that “someone” (probably house elves ’cause no one will admit to it) has used up the last of the coffee cream, which means I have to head out once again.

You see here a very nice catalina deal on the Oscar Meyer Little Ones (or something similar) – 2 oz of lunch meat with a shelf price of $1.49.  Yeah, like that’s gonna jump in my cart, right?  However, these are also part of the national promotion where the more you buy, the more you save.  In this case, the magic number is five:  Buy five and get a $4 OYNO, which you can use to pay for the next five.  And did I mention that they are now on sale for a buck each?  Pay $5 and get back $4 – yeah, they’re worth the 20¢…  The mustard is on sale for a buck as part of the 10/$10 sale – use the $1 off Essential Everyday coupon in the latest Jewel summer grilling booklet (I did tell you to stockpile them, didn’t I?).  I’ll probably get a couple more because summertime is hot dogs and sandwich time and the expiration dates are in 2014.  wait, isn’t the world supposed to end this December?  does Super-valu know something we don’t?
