Contrary to what you might be reading, while Jewel is upgrading their computer system (supposedly will allow scanning up to ten times faster!), they are NOT upgrading all at the same time!  It’s being installed and tested district by district (it’s currently live in the near west suburbs like River Forest among other districts I’ve already forgotten); my area won’t see any changes for another month or two.  Hopefully, that will allow all the bugs to get worked out!  So if you read about great deals, make sure you’re prepared to drive 🙂
