I was holding off on posting this deal until I ran it Monday, but Rachel’s already got it showing this am (she never sleeps): The Save $5 when you buy 5 OM deal (back page of Thursday ad) has a bunch of lunch meat deals, which tie in with a catalina starting the 13th. So, you buy five (I’m picking the fancy-pants shaved or carving board ones) for $3.99 each (19.95). The instant $5 leaves you at $14.95, then use the $1/2 coupons from the pictured coupons (very thin sheet), which turned up near the deli a few days ago, so then you’re at $12.95 – not good enough for me. I plan on using a $5 off meat wts to bring the total down to $7.95, or $1.59 for each. This deal will only work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, unless the Instant $5 is part of next week’s sales.
Sadly, when I first worked out the numbers, I was thinking that was too high a price to pay for lunchmeat…

So you get this $1/2 coupon at Jewel? And the $5/5 does not need coupons?
The $1/2 coupon is in the booklet somewhere around the deli section (it might be different at Danada, so ask at CS). wt is a wine tag, the coupons attached to or near alcohol stating buy us and get $XX off of whatever. IL law prohibits the purchase of alcohol as a condition of using a coupon, so, in effect, it was all free food for us. HOWEVER, this will all change, as Jewel just released an email on Friday afternoon stating that 6/23 will be the last day that they will accept wine tags without buying alcohol, unless the coupon specifically states this (known as NAPR coupons). Don’t sweat it, Justin, life goes on.

Note that the deli fresh combos don’t work, if you’re planning to use the Kraft First Taste qs like I did — I got 3 deli fresh and 2 deli fresh combos this morning and only got $2.00 back.
I’d think these are both MFR coupons.
Ah, Justin, these are all manufacturers coupons, what’s your point? We are not using two coupons on one item: The two $1/2 OM coupons are used with two $5 off $10 worth of meat. So far that’s six coupons and six packages of lunch meat. I could have used a couple more of the OM coupons, but I didn’t have any.
