Warning here, peeps! Jewel has dropped the Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers from some/most of the preferred cards. I just checked and I’ve lost a $2 and a $1 discount – only a $1 left on a single card. And who knows how long that one will remain. Considering I have 100 coupons ordered, yes, I’m majorly pissed about this.
If a store offers a discount through a certain date, it isn’t fair or honorable to yank it without notice. Want our continued loyalty, Supervalu? Show us some first, or it’s guerilla warfare time…
well, i’m goin’ to Jewel to use my $1.50!! and my coupons are on the way. Jewel loves me more.
Normally I’d make a snide comment, followed by “Bitch!” but in this case, go for it. I had three on my cards up until this morning – now only the one. Use ’em while you can. Penalizing the customers in your loyalty program can’t be a smart move for Jewel to make.
This happened to me last week. Did my shopping list on Wednesday night for a Thursday Jewel run. Had the $2 Healthy Choice discount, so I was excited. At Jewel, just $1 was deducted and when I got home and checked Avenu I just had a $1 discount for Healthy Choice!! Guess we should check RIGHT before we go!!
Notified the asst mgr at my Jewel (who will talk with the mgr on Monday) about this situation. I admit to being rather, shall we say, unorthodox? in my approach to shopping, but for the casual shopper who checks his deals ON JEWEL’S LOYALTY PROGRAM, the hits the store the next day…well that bastard’s SOL. I actually thought about changing the title of that post to: How to lose friends and alienate people…but then realized that Dominicks already had dibs on it.
