Jewel is doubling coupons

Starting Sunday, January 29, Jewel will have five doubler coupons in their Sunday ad – each will double one manufacturer coupon up to $1 through Wednesday February 4th. Limit five double coupons per transaction per day (bwahahaha). Run a quick check on CouponTom to see what high value coupons are available now and start planning (WhoNu coupons are a buck!). This will definitely bring us back to Jewel. Comment with what you think will be the biggest and bestest deals out there.

Ok, that’s awesome, but I’ve never understood this – so they will double up to 1.00. Does that mean they will double a .50 up to 1.00, or will they double a 1.00 up to 2.00?

Not 100% certain, but I know a .75 will go to $1.50, so my guess would be $1 doubles to $2 and a $1.25 would be face value.

  I’m trying to read the teeny tiny fine print, and it looks like they should double 1.00 coupon to 2.00, it says that 1.01 and higher is not subject to doubling. Oooo, this should make for some good deals, can’t wait for the Jewel sale paper tomorrow!

That is fantastic! You seem to have your fingers on the pulse of the nicest and most coupon friendly stores, example CVS and EMILY…love her!! My Jewel in Downers is ok but sometimes I get the old “let me scrutinize your coupon” checker…trying to nice here. Where do you find the most coupon friendly Jewel?

I shop at the Jewel on the corner of East Ogden and Washington Street in Naperville and I’ve had no problems using coupons there.
