Sadly, yes. I got a few more items, things like pub burgers for a buck each and buns. The strawberries were $1.75 a quart, the EE butter was $2 (I’m crying for my 38 pounds of sewer butter that got tossed) and the Scott Naturals was pretty much free with a cat that PITA found.

Check your local grocery store sale ads – I found mfr coupons for 3/$5 on Kraft shreds or chunks and $2 off meat with two Kraft Singles purchase. What’s the best part? The Jewel sale price was .13 cheaper than the other store on the Singles and $2.50 higher on the chunks!

The Jewel/Osco coupon book expires 5/31, so double-check your stash to make sure no water or cleaning product coupons were missed. I could have gotten the smaller EE paper towel rolls, but I’d rather pay a little something and not have to keep yelling “who took the last paper towel? why doesn’t anyone in the house replace anything but me?” oh, come on now…you know the drill…
