Spent $54 on Quorn non-chicken cutlets and nuggets, Eggo minis and Tom Tom tamales. Quorn were $1.50 and I have $1 coupons (peelies from boxes purchased with insert coupons), the Eggos were 75¢ and I’ll use the $1/2 from 8/2S – no coupons on the Tom Tom tamales, but they were only 10¢ (marked down from $1.19), so I’ll eat that part, or rather FirstBorn will!
The Eggos are in their own plastic baggies, so the boxes get tossed, the Quorn get split two packs to a quart freezer ziploc and the tamales don’t take up much space at all!
Any Eggos left at the Lisle location?
Oh, a joke! no…also took the Quorn, but they put out the clearance cart of lots of decent soups, organic sugar and gluten-free cookie mixes today. Oh, and lots of Glutino pizzas and Amy’s products left in the clearance freezer (no coupons).
The Campbells chunky soups were a good deal – every 5 @ .50 generated a $2 Cat – so oop was only .54 for every 5 – I went back and cleared it out for husband’s work lunches. I did leave your organic sugar though 🙂 – can’t blame me if it’s gone! (p.s. jealous of the eggo score)
