Almost forgot: I also got three catalinas for the Dole fruit: two 75¢ ones and a 50¢ one!
You’re probably sitting on a load of coupons expiring December 31, right? I’ll keep stocking up as long as the weather holds out – no sense in just waiting for the cold and snow.
You see here four transactions, one large one and three little Scott/Homelife runs for the cats. The large order had all the Dole fruit varieties for which I had FREE coupons and five half-pound packs of sliced Butterball turkey from the deli. I came up just under $100, so I added the six boxes of Better Oats (4/$5) to bump it up so I could use the $10/$100 cat PITA found. So let’s sum this up: I had FREE coupons for everything Dole related; $3.50 coupons for the Butterball turkey; $10/$100; two $1 IPs for the Better Oats; FREE Homelife coupon (from Prime RIb booklet) and that’s it. I was unable to use the $3 Scott cat from a prior transaction because I hadn’t spent enough. The large transaction started at well over a hundred and ended up at less than $5, of which $2 was tax.
You know the drill on the Scott and Homelife, so why bother…
Where do you get all your free coupons for Dole and Butterball lunch meat. Do you write to the company and they send them to you or what? Just curious.
Actually, the free Dole coupons came from Blogher 2011 in San Diego. I didn’t attend but Rachel did and generously shared tons with me. You can bet your boots that I will not only attend Blogher 2012 in NYC, but I will drive there to allow for maximum booty-retrieval. The Butterball coupons were wine tags Sam Adams that stated No Beer Purchase Required. They gave me $3.50 towards a Butterball product, in this case, lunch meat. Those were mailed to me by one of my wonderful readers. Between stamps and envelopes and rebate forms – – well, this site would certainly be a lot less fun, that’s for sure.
Nice one!
