Surprisingly enough, none of my eight delivered papers contained any grocery ads – NONE! I don’t recall this ever happening before, but the Goddess isn’t unhappy in the least because it’s too much work to try to find a deal at Jewel within the next few days. I’ve read comments on other sites about “deals” that just aren’t. If you find yourself buying things for more than you’re used to paying “’cause you have the doubler coupons,” then Jewel corporate has won and we’ll be seeing more of these non-deals and stupid Win Big promotions in the future.
If you do get anything really, really good, though, pretty please shoot me an email with pix and I’ll be thrilled to post.

Very, very strange. I’m so used to hearing all the store papers missing inserts that when the home delivered ones get the shaft, I’m amazed. But like I said, there really isn’t anything fantastic to stack with for me and I was kinda wondering how I’d use up the 40 coupons I would have gotten normally.
The better oats oatmeal is a pretty good deal at .58 ea after doubled coupons, and I do need coffee creamer, so $1 isn’t great, but isn’t bad. I have some other coupons I got in store that I wanted to check out prices for – my son loves those uncrustables and they are so expensive but I have a .75 coupon for them, thought that may make a good deal for a couple of boxes. Nothing super tragic though. I can live without it. Now off to get my Ubiquinol!

I appreciate it, but the Feb. book Q didn’t take off for both items, leaving me to pay $5.24 for each bottle, so I can’t get as many as I expected to get. Checking with the mom to see if she wants to pay for more, otherwise I’ll post the rest of the Qs I currently have and see if anyone else wants them. Thanks!
Yeah Jewel pretty much just sucks. I didn’t get any ad in the papers I bought at Menard’s yesterday and none in my home delivered paper either. I heard a lot of stores don’t have them either so I don’t even know it I’m going to stop and try to get one lonely ad per person! I like Meijer a whole lot better lately!
I have 6 ads but unfortunately, none of the sales really interest me (Not even free Suave shampoo is enticing enough to go through the hassle of what this promotion will bring).
If you’re not going to use them, maybe post them on the trade tab, and see if anyone wants to trade you for something else?
No ads for me either. Guess I’ll be staying home today! Jewel has been sucky lately. They have got to notice the sales reductions, don’t you think?
Identical-store sales dropped almost 3% and net sales dropped 4% in last quarter. Kroger’s sales were up almost 5%. Oh, I think they noticed. But their response is to eliminate staff and go after the Food4Less shopper. good luck with that
We’re keeping a running list of locations that do/don’t have the Sunday jewel ads with doublers over here, if you want to see if anywhere near you might have ’em.
