Well, they’ve dropped the Polar cans of pumpkins down to a dime, so if you’re looking for stock ups, Lisle is your Jewel – this was taken about an hour ago. Also had the red/green Xochitl holiday chips (March dates) for 99¢ so that would definitely work for the next few game days 🙂

The Dark Side of Couponing
My husband eyed the Meijer clearance this morning (while I was over in Vitamin section) and called me IN THE STORE lol and said grab a cart and get over there stat! I knew it would be good too. Pampa brand cans of no sugar added sliced peaches for 10c a can! I was thinking it was the same brand (Polar) as your pumpkin find here, does DT sell this brand? Anyway….he said as he was calling me a lady was looking over the clearance…but she walked away with nothing, so we bought ALL 60 cans!!! Funny thing is, I bought a can last month @ 75% off to try marked 39c a can….and we STILL hadn’t opened it…and today these same cans were marked down 93% off! Reg. price $1.59 I opened one up right now and they are awesome! These will go nicely with our stockpile of black beans we got from Walmart. But I STILL cannot find my cheap cans of pumpkin!? I think the price of pumpkin went up this year either bc of the pandemic or the crop wasn’t right?
Pumpkin prices did go up this year from what I’ve read. Great find on the peaches – all winter you’ll be enjoying fruit while pretending to be on vacation! Will definitely be checking clearance cart for canned fruit (cut up the oranges and stored in fridge for lazy snacking). We still have boxes of all-fruit squeeze pouches to fall back on as well.
